If so, your search will probably be endless. However, there may be a church that is perfect for you. We hope First United Methodist of Weatherford can be that church!

It would be a privilege to welcome you and your family to a church with a rich 150 + years of history and a vital presence in the community. First Methodist seeks to be a church that consistently strives to be warm and friendly, but respects your personal space while you make a church decision. We seek to be a scripturally based community that loves God and preaches the mission of Jesus Christ for the world.

The overall mission of the church is to bring people to Jesus Christ and, in doing so, transform the world into a more perfect place to live, while keeping at heart the promise of eternal life for all in Jesus Christ. Various styles of Bible Study for students of all ages and levels of interest are offered on a regular basis. A different community mission is emphasized each month throughout the year to give members a way to serve God and others. Children and youth are valued. The church offers a safe and spiritual atmosphere in the midst of a variety of activities.

Sundays offer two traditional worship experiences at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. A contemporary worship style is offered at 9:45 a.m. Sunday school is offered at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. for all ages. It would be a pleasure to welcome you this next Sunday.
